Albania 1958: Luana is a strong-willed and rebellious woman and the daughter of a respected man. An arranged marriage forces her to deny her love for Agim. Luana, who was lucky enough to learn to read, finds a way to lead her fight for freedom while following the village code, but the personal price is high.

A story about a female revolution, which shines through the intense screen presence of actress Rina Krasniqi, who leads the film to an emotional and delicious climax.
